About Bo
Meet Bo, a nine-year-old senior with the soul of an adventurer. He hasn't let age slow him down—he still craves walks, outdoor escapes, new sights, and playtime almost as much as a good, quiet snuggle next to his favorite people. Whether exploring parks, joining a low-key weekend hike, or playing in the yard, Bo is always up for what’s next. Bo’s life hasn’t been easy. He’s outlasted three previous owners who struggled with homelessness, yet he’s stayed resilient and open-hearted through every upheaval. Despite instability, he greets the world with loyalty and hope, ready to bond deeply with someone who will give him the steady, loving home he’s never truly known. He’s looking for adults (or dog-experienced teens) who appreciate a senior companion with plenty of heart and curiosity left. Bo needs daily walks, a fenced yard, and someone who understands the value of commitment. He gets along with adult female dogs above 45 pounds who match his style, but he does not do well with male dogs, puppies, or homes with children. Stability and kindness are non-negotiable. Senior dogs love with an unmatched depth—Bo is proof of that. Ready to give him the retirement he deserves? Click apply to start the adoption process.

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Bo's breed mix generally benefits from access to a yard with a secure fence and regular outdoor time. Daily walks and opportunities to explore are important for both their mental and physical well-being.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Bo is not suited to households with children, which aligns with a tendency for some senior Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terriers to prefer calmer environments. Homes with adults or dog-experienced teens are a better fit for him.
