Cookie is a 2.5-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing about 14 pounds of pure snuggle potential. This tiny sweetheart may start out a little shy, but give her a moment and she quickly melts into the cuddly, affectionate girl she truly is. Once she feels safe, Cookie loves nothing more than curling up close and soaking in all the love. One of Cookie's most adorable quirks is the tiny squeaky sounds she makes when she's being cuddled-her little way of saying she's perfectly happy right where she is. She's also a big fan of playing dress-up and looks absolutely darling in her cozy outfits. Cookie is dog tolerant with proper introductions and tends to be a bit nervous around cats, so slow introductions and a patient home will help her feel comfortable. She's still working on polishing up her house training, but with consistency and encouragement she'll keep improving. If you're looking for a sweet, snuggly little companion with a soft heart and an adorable personality, Cookie might just be the perfect addition to your home. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
