You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. I'd like to introduce Canella Grace! She is about 3 years old and weighs right around 40 lbs. She is a heeler mix and is looking for her forever family. Gracie was found as a stray and when she got into the shelter they discovered she had a secret. She was ready to deliver some puppies. The puppies came, she took good care of them and they all found their families but Gracie was left behind in the shelter spending 3 months which can be intimidating. She found safety with Rescue Rovers and would now love nothing more than to find her perfect family and live happily ever after. From a foster family perspective Gracie is the perfect house guest. She is house trained, gets along with everyone which means all people, large and small dogs, cats, and I would suspect anyone or anything else she would come in contact with. She is a very calm quiet heeler which I know is an oxymoron. She exists to be loved. She can be a little timid in new situations and really could use some confidence when riding in the car and exploring new adventures. However, that is improving with every car ride we take and every new adventure we go on. She also is not a fan of kennels but she is such a good girl she is fine to have free roam of the house. She sleeps on her dog bed quietly at night. We have been working of basic commands and she walks great on a leash. Gracie would love to find a family that is patient and wants her to experience life with them. Hiking, you bet, camping, yes please.
