Despite is rough start in life at the shelter, San has remained incredibly playful and full of personality. He is curious, playful, with puppy-like energy. San has been lovingly cared for by his foster and is ready to meet his forever family in the Seattle area! Name: San Breed:Spitz/Mixed Breed Age: 2 years old Gender: Male Weight: 21 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes Temperament & Behavior Good with dogs? Yes. He shows interest in other dogs he meets on walks, approaches them confidently, and enjoys playing together. Good with cats? Unknown. Good with kids? He gets startled when children approach suddenly, but he stays calm. Sociability with people Very social. He loves anyone who approaches him and enjoys human attention. Potty trained? Yes. He is 100% pad-trained indoors and can also potty outside during walks.. Good on leash? He currently tends to pull on the leash during walks and is in training. Barker? He only barks at night if he sees something unfamiliar outside the window. During the day, he generally does not bark at noises or movement. Separation anxiety? No separation anxiety. When alone, he usually sleeps and waits calmly. When people return, he becomes very excited and playful. Mouthiness/Nipping? He may gently mouth fingers or toys during play, but this is playful and not aggressive. Behavioral issues He has a habit of nibbling at his leg fur and may try to chew on tissues if accessible. Health Notes No known health issues. Personality & habits San is a true people-dog and is happiest when humans are around. He approaches even strangers easily and enjoys their company. He likes watching outside through the window and also enjoys watching TV. He is intelligent, energetic, and full of curiosity. When he gets overly excited during play, he may mount a cushion, but if the cushion is removed, he refocuses on his toys. San looks like a little fox🦊 and has an exceptionally soft coat!
