This fun boy loves to play as much as he loves to sit on your lap and watch the world go by. Teddy would do well in most any home where his preference for slower intros will be supported and advocated for. Teddy isn't super forward in his greetings, but he is a lover and a social butterfly once he gets comfortable. He likes to approach new people at his own speed and give them a sniff, after which he's wonderful. Teddy has met older kids who let him take the lead and he was playing chase with them in no time, so he would do great with dog-savvy human siblings who could respect his space and let him come to them. This sweetie pie has ignored the cats he's seen, so he would likely do well living with cats with proper introductions. Once Teddy is comfortable he loves to play keep away or toss a toy around for himself! Teddy is house trained and will walk to the door if he needs to go out. He is also crate trained consistently during the day and overnight. Teddy may whine for a minute or two as he settles in, especially in new surroundings, but he quickly gets comfortable and sleeps. This handsome gentleman walks well on his leash but can be scared by loud noises, so he sometimes needs encouragement to be brave in unfamiliar places.
