Lily is a three-year-old sweet and affectionate kitty who has already overcome many challenges in her young life. Despite her difficult past, Lily has remained loving, gentle, and eager to bond with people. She has a wonderful, affectionate personality, absolutely loves attention, and enjoys being petted and loved on. Playtime is another one of her favorite things – if you don’t have time for the wand toy, she happily chases and plays with her toys. Lily is also a fan of wet food, which quickly wins her over. A couple of years ago, Lily’s previous owners moved away and sadly, left her behind, forcing her to survive on the streets. During that time, she had several litters of kittens that neighborhood dogs did not allow to survive. Through all of these hardships, Lily showed incredible resilience and continued to seek kindness and companionship from humans. Lily is ready for a fresh start! After spending so long taking care of herself, it is time for Lily to find her safe, loving forever home where she can finally relax, be cared for, and receive the affection she deserves. Lily’s sweet nature and playful spirit will make her a wonderful companion for any family lucky enough to welcome her into their home. While living outside, Lily spent time around other street cats. Because of this, she may do well in a home with other cats, especially if they are introduced slowly and patiently. She will do best in a mature home or one with older, cat-savvy children (8+). She is very unsure of dogs, probably because she had bad experiences outside, so very slow introductions would have to take place and only with dogs who understand and like kitties. Lily was born approximately February 1, 2023, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend.
