We know his Mother is a Yorkie & Father a little Dachshund mix. Tater is an outgoing, friendly little guy who just seems to love life, he always has a wagging tail & smiling face! He is Fostered in a busy home with Grandchildren 7 & 9 who visit to play with him almost daily! (living down the block makes that easy!) Tater has some longer hair whispees' but doesn't really shed much & it is soft & easy to maintain by monthly baths which he does wonderful for. There are other small dogs in Tater's Foster Home, he will run around & play with both. For toys he likes chewing on Nylabones, Gumabones & plush crinkle/squeaky. He is Fostered near McHenry, IL. Your Veterinarian must confirm with K9LLR that your past/ present dogās Heartworm Testing is up to date & Preventative has been purchased/scripted along with current Rabies. Call your Veterinarian Before applying to give permission for them to release information to K9LLR & check that all their records are complete & accurate. All puppies & dogs have had a wellness exam by a licensed Veterinarian. They are healthy to the best of our knowledge & come with a Certified Health Certificate (CVI). All adult dogs are heartworm tested & have had spay or neuter surgery. Dental surgery is done on dogs with severe dental disease. Most PUPPIES Will need continued Distemper/Parvo vaccine, a Rabies Vaccine & deworming, this is the adopterās responsibility. All dogs & puppies are fed high quality dog foods while in the care of K9LLR. We hope our adopters follow suit and are happy to discuss nutrition with you. Some of our dogs & puppies are mixed breeds & in most cases we do not know who their parents were. We do our best to properly Breed ID our pups, however we cannot be 100% sure of any mix breed.
