<p>Meet Maple</p> <p>Oh so sweet Maple is a 3-year-old Lab mix who has already given so much love in her life. She came to us with babies from two prior litters and was living outdoors before arriving in our care. When she first came in, she was underweight and in need of some TLC but it didn't take long for her true personality to blossom.</p> <p>Maple is 100% love, all the time. She bonds instantly to her person and is about as loyal as they come. While she will happily and affectionately greet everyone she meets, her heart truly belongs to "her person." She lives to be close following you from room to room, laying by your side, and soaking up every bit of affection she can get.</p> <p>She's wonderful with dogs and great with kids. She has shown mild curiosity toward cats she has sniffed, but she hasn't lived with one in foster, so we can't officially call her cat-tested just yet.</p> <p>Maple isn't a hyper girl. She may do a few joyful zoomies in the yard, but most of the time she prefers to quietly keep tabs on her people and relax nearby. She hasn't shown much interest in toys yet likely because she's just discovering what it means to simply be a dog and have fun.</p> <p>She isn't a fan of the crate, but she does well left loose in the home and has not been destructive. Maple thrives on routine and does great with potty habits when kept on a consistent schedule.</p> <p>When Maple arrived, she weighed just 41 pounds and was far too thin. She should comfortably fill out to around 48 pounds at a healthy weight.</p> <p>Because of her deep attachment to people, Maple would do best in a home with:</p> <p> Another friendly dog for companionship</p> <p> Someone who is not gone long workdays (she truly wants her people close)</p> <p> A family ready to give as much love as she gives</p> <p>Maple has spent her life giving to others now it's her turn to be cherished.
