Just one month ago we received a 911 text about a tiny puppy who was reported to be blind, deaf, and clinging to life. His future was grim and euthanasia was being considered. He is not blind. He is not deaf. He is not unhealthy in the least! He had a common parasite that we treated and Mateo is now romping around at 100% full speed and living the life every puppy deserves. Mateo is thriving. He is playing like a puppy, hopping around everywhere, and doing all the puppy things he deserves to be doing. He is hilarious and has a sweet, funny personality. He loves being held and happily settles in to sit with you, soaking up the attention. He loves people, other dogs and being part of whatever is going on around him, but he also does very well entertaining himself and playing independently. One month ago Mateo was a misunderstood puppy whose future was hanging in the balance.
