Hi... my name is Roxie I was rescued from an animal cruelty case where I was very hungry for a long time. I was all skin and bones, and those days were scary. I'm so thankful for Big Dog Ranch Rescue and the kind people who brought me to safety and showed me that not all humans hurt. Now I'm learning what it feels like to be loved. I enjoy playing with other dogs and I walk nicely on a leash. Because of my past, I can be a little guarded around my food-I'm still learning that I'll never go hungry again. For now, I do best being fed separately, and that's okay. I hope one day those memories will fade. What I want most is a family who understands me, who will give me patience, kindness, and all the food, love, and affection I could ever ask for. I promise to give my whole heart in return.
