Diesel
AvailableDiesel is a senior neutered male Siamese/Domestic Short Hair mix with a medium build, currently living in Magnolia Springs, AL. He is house trained and up to date on vaccinations. Diesel has special needs due to his diabetes, which is managed with daily medication and a prescription diet. He requires an adult-only home where he is the only animal. His outgoing nature and vocal personality make him a memorable companion.
About Diesel
Diesel is a striking 13-year-old chocolate point Siamese with a deep, chattering voice and a whole lot of personality packed into a medium frame. He’s clever, interactive, and thrives on being the center of attention—especially when treat puzzles or toys are around. Diesel’s routine is well established, including daily Bexacat medication (which he takes easily) and a prescription diet to help keep his diabetes well-managed. His glucose is stable and he’s in great spirits. Conversation is one of Diesel’s favorite pastimes; he’ll make sure you know exactly when he’s ready for some affection. He likes affection his way, and he’ll vocalize when it’s time to give him some space or doting. Diesel must be the only animal in the home; he doesn’t get along with other cats, dogs, or kids, and needs an adult-only environment where things are calm and consistent. Because he’s declawed, he must stay strictly indoors, though he’ll happily lounge on a secure, screened patio to watch the world. Diesel is best suited for someone experienced with both strong-willed cats and diabetic care, who will value his companionship and independence. He’s looking for a home where he can rule the roost and settle in as a classic Siamese with plenty to say. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!

Questions about Diesel
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Diesel, being a Siamese/Domestic Short Hair mix, thrives best in stable, indoor homes where routine and attention are available. Because he's declawed and diabetic, he needs a secure space without outdoor access and a family attentive to his health.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Siamese mixes like Diesel do not need outdoor space and actually require strict indoor living, especially since Diesel is declawed. A screened-in patio or safe windowsill can enrich his experience without risking his safety.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Generally, Siamese cats can be social, but Diesel prefers an adult-only home and does not get along with children. His temperament suggests he should not be placed with kids.
