Edith
AvailableEdith is a senior female Hound with a medium build, currently residing in Saint Augustine, FL. Though she’s underweight now, she should fill out to around 45-50 pounds with the right care. Edith has been spayed and, despite her past, is full of hope for a loving future. She’s known for her sweet nature and resilience.
About Edith
As the temperature dropped, Edith—a painfully thin senior hound—was left at a rural animal control with almost no shelter. At just 34 pounds when she should be closer to 50, Edith arrived in rough shape: grime, ticks, open wounds, and not a shred of extra body fat. Even so, her tail never quit wagging. She’s got a tough journey ahead, but she landed somewhere she’ll finally know steady meals, warmth, and real kindness. Edith gets along with dogs, cats, and kids, and she’s searching for a caring foster home to help her regain her strength and health. Her spirit is remarkable, and she deserves the comfort she’s gone so long without. Give Edith the chance to rest and heal—instead of just scraping by, she could thrive. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
