*Please include your ***PHONE NUMBER*** in your email to TheLongWayHomeRescue@gmail.com for a faster response! Meet Squishy! Squishy is so stinking cute! He's the calm, shy buddy! Their story: Sugar and her 5 babies are very special to us and the community. Mama Sugar was on the streets near Memphis for 3 years. Unfortunately, she endured 3 known pregnancies during that time with zero survivors, due to traffic and dangerous environment. We got a call about a very pregnant beagle and her aussie friend and said, "YES, we will take them!" Within a few days, Sugar had 8 beautiful puppies! Five puppies survived- 3 girls and 2 boys! We expect the puppies to be 20lbs full-grown. Puppies' DOB- 1/2/2026 Sugar's apprx DOB- 2/14/2021 Having a mom on the streets throughout her pregnancy with zero comfort, routine meals, or a safe place to stay-- we call these 5 puppies our little miracles! Each are very much like Mama Sugar- very calm, gentle natured, and cuddly. I know when families meet them, it will be hard to pick just one. They are all so perfect and loving!!! Mama Sugar is one of the best mamas we've ever had at our rescue.. and we've had apprx 60 moms here in the last 18 yrs! We're so grateful we were trusted with this precious family in need!
