She’s currently paired up with her beagle bestie, Moo, and while she truly enjoys his company, she’s not dependent on him. They just make a great little team. Rosie is food motivated (very food motivated ??), takes treats gently, and has shown no food aggression. That love of snacks will be a huge plus for continued training! She does need some leash work, as she’s strong and can throw her weight around when she’s excited. With consistent exercise and routine, we think she’ll settle nicely — but she can show anxiety when her normal routine changes. She’s a bit excitable for vetting and may jump up to say hello. There’s no aggression noted — just some anxious, fearful energy that comes out as enthusiasm. Because she can be bouncy and strong, she could accidentally knock over small children or anyone not expecting her full-body excitement. Rosie would thrive with an active adopter or a home with a fenced yard where she can burn off that extra energy. A family willing to continue leash and obedience training will truly help her shine.
