Enya is an affectionate German Shepherd who craves close company—she will stick by your side wherever you go. Her past is unclear, but she arrived thin and unsure. After gaining weight and confidence, she's now a strong, extra-large dog weighing over 100 pounds. Enya has some separation anxiety and isn't a fan of kennels, though she's making steady progress with crate training. She’ll let you know when she’s unhappy being left alone but finds comfort sleeping beside your bed and waits politely for an invitation to jump up. A home where someone is around most of the day would suit her best, especially if you work from home, as she’ll happily curl up near your desk. She’s housebroken and prefers to follow routines. Enya needs a very secure, tall privacy fence due to her playful nature and history of trying to jump fences. She gets along well with medium or large dogs, but can be too energetic for small ones.
