About Chosen
Some dogs spend their whole lives waiting to be chosen. Chosen almost didn’t get that chance. This beautiful Doberman mix came from a cruelty situation, but somehow her spirit is still bright and hopeful. She may be a little shy for the first few minutes when meeting someone new, but once she realizes she’s safe, her sweet and loving personality shines through. Chosen has the gentlest heart. She’s affectionate, eager to please, and just wants to be close to her people. The more comfortable she becomes, the more her playful and happy side comes out. She absolutely loves other dogs and feels safest when she has a canine friend nearby. She thrives in social environments and would do best in a home with another friendly dog to play with, explore with, and relax beside. Chosen is also wonderful with people and children, and once she bonds with you, she’ll happily follow you around just to be near you. She’s still learning that the world can be kind, but every day she grows more confident and trusting. Dogs like Chosen remind us why rescue matters. Because even after everything she’s been through, she still believes someone out there will choose her. And when they do, they’ll gain one of the most loyal, loving companions they could ever ask for. Be the one who chooses Chosen. +++++++ ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://petsave.formstack.com/forms/petsave_adoption_application +++++++ Chosen is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to the perfect forever home by our rescue! We have transports departing each week! +++++++ The Truth About Rescue: Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and that’s the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again. Adoption isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they’re finally home. That’s when you’ll see them bloom — soft and steady — into the very best version of themselves. And somewhere along the way, you’ll realize they were never the only one being rescued. +++++++ Once we have received your application, we will review and reach out to set-up an interview with one of our volunteers! If you have additional questions, please email us at SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com. Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
