About Gideon
Meet Gideon! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Gideon is a handsome tabby with a gentle soul who's ready for a fresh start. He came from a difficult hoarding situation where he spent far too long confined, so the world can still feel a little big and scary to him sometimes. But with patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats, Gideon is learning that life can be safe, cozy, and full of love. Despite his rough beginning, Gideon has a wonderfully sweet nature. Once he feels comfortable, his soft personality really shines through. Gideon brings kitten energy when the mood strikes. Gideon is a sucker for belly rubs. Gideon just needs someone willing to give him a little encouragement as he continues to build his confidence. A calm home, gentle reassurance, and the occasional snack will go a long way in helping him blossom into the loving companion he's meant to be. If you're the kind of person who believes every cat deserves a second chance, Gideon might be your perfect match. With a little patience and a lot of heart, he's sure to become an incredibly rewarding best friend. Gideon is ~3 years old, neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litter box tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! Gideon does great with kids, cats, and dogs that are currently in his foster home. Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens Gideon is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
