Elmer is an affectionate, easygoing guy and the kind of dog who makes everyone feel instantly welcome. At a recent off-site adoption event he took everything in stride with a wagging tail and a happy heart. He was perfectly content sitting with his volunteer between enthusiastically greeting visitors-often leaning in close, because Elmer is the best kind of "leaner" and likes to make sure you know he's right there with you. Elmer showed off his signature full-body wags and his irresistibly sweet, always-happy expression. When given a stuffed toy, he was absolutely delighted and happily offered it to anyone who stopped by to say hello. He's proved himself to be as steady, sweet, and lovable as they come!
