About Diesel TRAINED DOG

Diesel Trained Dog is 61 pounds of sheer enthusiasm and affection. Originally rescued from Miami Dade Animal Services, Diesel won people over with his outgoing, welcoming energy—there's not a single mean streak in him. He’s a big guy but gentle, loves to play and race around the yard with other dogs, and he quickly picks up on commands thanks to his sharp focus on his person. Like a classic German Shepherd mix, he’s loyal and attentive, but friendly to new people when told it’s okay. Diesel thrives when he’s getting regular exercise, so a home with a yard is ideal; while an apartment may work for someone active who lives near a dog park, he’ll need a routine that includes daily running and play. He plays well with other dogs and gets along with kids over 10, though he’s a bit too powerful for toddlers and might accidentally knock them down. Diesel is currently enrolled in a prison dog training program in Miami, where he's on track to earn multiple AKC certifications—including Canine Good Citizen, CGC-Advanced, and Trick Dog Novice.
