Diesel is 61lbs of pure happy and love! We rescued Diesel from Miami Dade Animal Services. We picked him for his exuberant friendly nature. Not a mean bone in his body. He's big, but very friendly. He loves to play and run with his dog friends, has excelled quickly at training and has excellent handler focus. Like most German Shepherds, he is bonded deeply to his person and prefers to be all eyes on his handler. But, he will happily say hello and be wiggly with every new person he meets also (but only if you give him that command). Diesel is an active dog so a home with a yard is a must. We would consider an apartment for the right person (maybe lives near dog park?), but this dude needs to run daily to be fulfilled. We had a DNA pannel done, take a look! Diesel would be great for kids over 10 but may run over or bump into little ones. This dog is currently participating in our prison dog training program in Miami, Florida. Our dogs become available for adoption upon completion of their training program where they meet all the criteria to pass the following AKC certifications: 1. AKC (American Kennel Club) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) 2. AKC CGC-Advanced 3.
