Pete is a resilient and affectionate young boy who is ready for a fresh start and a forever home. He was discovered living in a construction-filled yard with his sister in Anaheim Ca. A caring neighbor who feeds local stray cats had seen them there for nearly a year-unfixed, flea-ridden, and struggling to survive while renovations dragged on for months. The homeowner had once said the cats would be allowed indoors when construction was finished, but sadly that day never came. Tragedy struck when Pete's sister was attacked by another animal, and despite the neighbor's efforts, she did not survive. Pete was found nearby, confused and alone. After everything he had been through, we knew Pete deserved safety and a chance at a better life. Since coming into rescue, he has received the care he needed and is now healthy, thriving. Despite his difficult past, Pete has shown himself to be a gentle, loving cat who enjoys affection and companionship. It's clear he misses having a feline friend, so he would do best in a home with another friendly cat where he can continue to heal and grow. Pete has survived so much and is ready for a life filled with love, comfort, and companionship. Come meet Pete and give this sweet boy the happy ending he truly deserves. P.S.
