About Kansas
Kansas is a survivor with an incredible story. He overcame parvo thanks to quick action and three tough days at the ER. Now he’s bursting with energy and a new love of life. In his foster home, Kansas gets along well with both large and small dogs—though he does need a slow introduction and prefers the company of more submissive canine siblings. Nighttime finds Kansas content in his kennel, though he'd much rather curl up with his person. At just over a year old, Kansas is house trained, full of spirited play, and loves roughhousing with his dog buddies. He’s still youthful and active, but if there’s a lap, he’ll claim it: cuddling is his specialty. Kansas isn't a match for households with cats, but children are a different story—he’ll happily share snuggles and energy with them. If you want a loving, loyal dog who enjoys both wild play and quiet time, Kansas might just be your next best friend. A fun fact: Kansas is an Aries—no wonder he’s so lively and brave!
