Hazel is a 12-year-old brown tabby with beautiful, marbled markings. She and her sister, Tina, lived their entire lives with a wonderful family, adopted as kittens together. They went on road trips with their family and led a very full life. Unfortunately, their owners had a baby and recently found out that their child is severely allergic to cats. :( They very reluctantly surrendered Hazel and Tina to Freedom Farm because they trust that we will find them a good home together. Their family has requested that they be adopted together because they are bonded. Hazel is the more confident, vocal and affectionate of the two sisters. If you have always wanted the kind of cat that will answer you every time you ask a question, then you would love Hazel! She walks right up to visitors and demands some pets. She is ok with other cats with time to adjust but does not like dogs at all. Hazel would probably do fine with gentle older children. She has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and leukemia, dewormed and is on flea prevention. Hazel recently had a healthy exam, updated vaccines and a senior panel. Her teeth are in good condition and our vet says that she is very healthy for her age. She does not have any evident arthritis so far. Hazel's adoption fee is $100 since she is a senior.
