About Biscuit
Meet Biscuit, a ginger female with a dazzling dreamsicle coat and plenty of character. Life threw her some hard punches—rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control, Biscuit battled ringworm and survived Panleukopenia before making a full comeback in foster care. These days, she’s putting her energy into learning how to trust, becoming more comfortable around people, and showing off a surprising playful side. Biscuit’s looking for a quieter home with adults or older kids who understand that trust takes time. She does best when there’s another young cat around—she may feign disinterest at first, but she comes alive after a good introduction and genuinely enjoys feline company. You’ll catch her chasing spring toys with unexpected gusto or quietly trailing you from room to room, her interest obvious in those ever-alert ears. She prefers to be close but not right in the spotlight, bringing just enough curiosity and mischief to keep things interesting. She loves wet food, will defend her favorite toys with a little yowl, and sometimes seems more interested in the TV than in being petted. With patience, she’ll blossom into a companion with real affection to give. Born June 24, Biscuit is a Cancer—so expect an observant cat with a soft side, ready to find her people. This could be the start of something paw-some.
