***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Skunky is one funky little girl! Skunk came to the shelter with her sister Bobcat and they both are inseparable. Like Ying and Yang, Skunky is the outgoing type, she loves to play with other cats big or small, loves her foster brother Hank who is an 85 pound coonhound. While she deeply loves to be around other critters, she also loves the humans. Her attention span right now is short but as she ages we do believe she will mellow out a little more and will want to sit in your lap for more than five minutes. Skunky, like most kittens, are curious about everything. She loves the dirt in the indoor plants, loves to play with all the toys, and loves to jump up onto the counter stools and show off how tall she is! Her favorite thing is her sister though; her partner in crime and her favorite snuggle buddy. The best home for her would be with cats who want other friends or to live with just her sister. She likes dogs, but would prefer them to like her back as well. Calm dogs only. While she likely would be wonderful with children, older kids would fit the pair as Bobcat is shy. Skunk is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. As always, adoption fee for cats/kittens is free will to approved applicants.
