Their mom was killed. Tonight five puppies arrived at Denkai. Late tonight, five mixed-breed puppies arrived at Denkai Animal Sanctuary from the Dove Creek area after a heartbreaking situation. Their mother was reportedly shot and killed, leaving these babies suddenly orphaned and in crisis. These puppies should still be curled up with their mom for warmth, safety, and comfort. Instead, tonight they arrived frightened, confused, and without the one thing they needed most — their mother. Now they are depending entirely on people to step up for them.
