Introducing Jalapeño! Don’t let his name fool you - this boy is sweet and loving once he trusts you! Jalapeño is an 8-12 month old mixed breed pup with the most beautiful brindle coat. He currently weighs 27 lbs and we don’t anticipate him getting much bigger making him the perfect size! He was rescued from a local backyard breeding situation and has been thriving in his foster home with some of his housemates. Jalapeño can be shy and nervous at first, but if you give him time to warm up he will become your sweetest companion. He bonds closely with his humans and loves to give kisses and does the cutest bunny hop when he’s excited to see you! He is friendly with other dogs and especially loves to play with his brother Taz. He will chase the cats at times so he would need proper introductions if there are feline friends in his forever home. Jalapeño is neutered and utd on vaccinations. He is still learning all of his basic house manners including housebreaking, but he will quickly excel with patience and structure from his forever family. We would recommend kids 10+ since Jalapeño can be nervous at first and young kids may be overwhelming to him.
