Meet Scruffy and YupYup! Scruffy and YupYup are 9 week old Chihuahua puppies who came to our shelter after an “oops” litter. These two tiny boys are about as cute as it gets and are now looking for loving homes of their own. Each puppy weighs right around 3 pounds and both are very snuggly little guys. In their foster home they are currently learning the basics of puppy life. They are using pee pads and have even been sleeping most of the night. Of course, they are still young puppies, so their routines will continue to change as they grow and adjust to a new home. While the people around them said both parents were Chihuahuas, and these puppies certainly look like Chihuahuas, we do not give breed guarantees. With puppies, it is always a bit of a mystery. The only thing we feel comfortable guaranteeing is that they are not 100% Great Pyrenees, so you likely won’t end up with a 100-pound livestock guardian. Scruffy and YupYup are currently being raised in a foster home where they are getting lots of love and attention while they wait for their forever families.
