About Nan

Nan is a big girl with an even bigger personality, sitting at an impressive 15.6 lbs. She was rescued as a tiny kitten in 2023 and, while her orange tabby siblings found homes quickly, Nan and her brother Bert have been overlooked despite their incredible temperaments. Nan stands out as a social, playful, and affectionate tabby who loves lap time and will gently reach out for you as you walk by. She thrives on human attention and would do best in a cat-savvy home where she gets plenty of individual play sessions—her favorite game is the cat fishing pole, and she's likely to enjoy a game of fetch too. While Nan is good with cat-friendly cats and dogs, she does have a bossy streak and may prefer being the only cat in the household so she can soak up all the attention. She’s known to cuddle in laps and beds and will nudge you to stay put for her snuggle time. Nan adjusts quickly to new environments, especially with patient adopters who offer treats, toys, and time. Although she and her brother Bert get along well, they aren't a bonded pair and can be adopted separately. Two cats can be even better, so if you’re open to adopting a sibling or feline friend, Nan would gladly welcome the company. Nan is currently fostered in Moreno Valley, CA while she waits for her forever home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
