Meet Moomba – Your Island Boy with the Brightest Blue Eyes 💙 Moomba is a 6-month-old mixed breed about 35 pounds who has traveled all the way from Aruba to find his forever family. After a long journey, he’s settling beautifully into life here in the States and absolutely thriving in his foster home. This handsome boy is fully potty trained and currently working on crate training and leash skills. Like any puppy his age, he’s still learning the ropes, but he’s eager, smart, and ready to please. In fact, he learned “sit” in just a couple of days! Moomba is playful, affectionate, and full of joyful puppy energy. When he runs, you’ll see the most adorable mix of speedy zoomies and slightly clumsy, baby-deer grace. It’s impossible not to smile watching him. When playtime winds down, he’s just as happy to cuddle up and relax by your side. He does wonderfully with the resident dog in his foster home and has a respectful, submissive play style. He takes cues from other dogs and enjoys playing both independently and with canine friends. He loves toys and keeps himself entertained. Moomba is currently learning appropriate interactions with the resident cat and is working on being gentle and not chasing. This is still a work in progress, but he has shown no aggression toward humans, dogs, or cats. He has also been around older children and even a newborn (with supervision) and has done very well. Moomba would thrive in a home that understands puppy development and is ready to provide structure, patience, consistency, and lots of love.
