About Chrysanthemum
Chrysanthemum is a stunning 7-year-old longhaired tortoiseshell with a name as elegant as she is. With her flowing coat and beautiful patchwork colors, she looks a little like a piece of living artwork… the kind that would very much like you to sit down quietly so she can cuddle with you. Unfortunately, the shelter has not been her favorite place. It’s loud, it’s busy, it smells like approximately one million other cats, and frankly Chrysanthemum would like to file a formal complaint about the entire situation. A refined lady like her simply prefers a calmer lifestyle. Luckily, she recently got a much-needed break with one of our wonderful foster families—and that’s where we got to see the real Chrysanthemum. According to her foster, she was an **absolute angel**. She settled in beautifully, enjoyed plenty of pets and snuggles, and after a little time to get comfortable, she even started coming out to play and curl up with her foster at bedtime. She can coexist with other cats just fine, though she mostly kept to herself and focused on the important things in life: relaxing, being adored, and perfecting the art of cozy naps. Chrysanthemum is truly the sweetest, most relaxed baby girl. She’s not here for chaos—she’s here for **quiet companionship**. If your idea of a perfect evening involves reading a book, taking a nap, watching a show, or generally enjoying peaceful activities with a soft, beautiful cat nearby, she will happily volunteer for the role. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who just wants a calm place to land and someone to share cozy moments with, Chrysanthemum might be exactly the girl you’ve been waiting for.
