Sam is a 5-year-old Border Collie mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. He was deeply loved in his previous home, but due to allergies and a busy schedule, his family made the very difficult decision to help him find a new home that can give him the time and energy he deserves. Sam absolutely ADORES people — especially kids! Because of this, we would love to see him join a family with children who can give him plenty of love, playtime, and attention. This sweet boy is 100% housebroken and ready to settle right into family life. Like many energetic pups, Sam could use a little guidance with leash manners, but he’s a smart Border Collie mix and eager to learn! He does well with other dogs and while he hasn’t lived with cats before, he had a positive first interaction with them at the shelter. Sam is a loving, loyal companion who is just waiting for the right family to call his own. 💙
