About Jade
Jade starts out shy and keeps her distance until she knows she can trust you. Found with her mom and siblings after being left behind at a national park, she’s taken her time opening up, but it’s made her all the more loyal. She relaxes in calm, predictable homes and does best when people let her come out of her shell at her pace—no grabbing or picking up, just patience and treats. Once she decides you’re safe, Jade will seek out pets and cuddles, soaking up quiet affection like she’s been waiting for it all along. She’s bright, quick-witted, and observant. Out of her litter, Jade was the first to master stairs and furniture. She’s food-motivated, does well with meal routines, and picks up on basic commands quickly. Leash walking is still a work in progress. Jade lives with two Maine Coon cats and gets along fine with them. Jade’s future people should be adults or older kids who can respect her boundaries—young children and chaos will just stress her out. She’ll thrive with a confident, steady dog companion who can show her how to settle in. Jade weighs a little over 25lbs, loves a routine, and needs understanding more than anything else.
