About Penelope
Expected to stay small (around 10–15 lbs), Penelope is a playful and affectionate puppy who loves attention, toys, and puppy adventures. Penelope is the only girl in her litter of five siblings who were rescued from the streets of Mexico and brought to safety. Now thriving in foster care, she's enjoying the happy, carefree life every puppy deserves. Penelope has a short, smooth coat and a sweet personality. She loves playing with her brothers, exploring her surroundings, and soaking up attention from her people. Her foster family describes her as: Playful and curious Sweet and affectionate Social and people-oriented A happy little pup who enjoys cuddles after playtime Like her siblings, Penelope is still learning the basics of puppy life — including potty training, routines, and good manners. Her future family should be ready for all the fun, laughter, and love that comes with raising a puppy. We expect Penelope to grow into a small dog, likely around 10–15 pounds when fully grown, making her a wonderful companion for many homes. If you're looking for a small pup with a loving personality and playful spirit, Penelope might be the perfect addition to your family. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
