Lavetta was being cared for as a stray when she showed up with an injured leg. When Tiny Tigers took her in, we discovered it had been broken but was already healing. Her leg healed at a bit of an unusual angle, so it’s a little shorter than the others and she doesn’t fully put weight on it — but the good news is she’s comfortable and doesn’t need an amputation as long as she continues doing well. And through it all, Lavetta has remained an absolutely beautiful calico girl ready to start her next chapter.
