Meet Joe – A Little Dog with a Big Heart Joe is a precious 10-year-old Chihuahua whose world was turned upside down when his beloved owner passed away. After losing the only home he knew, Joe was surrendered to a shelter. Thankfully, we were able to step in and give this sweet senior the second chance he deserves. Since coming into our care, Joe has had a full veterinary workup and is doing wonderfully. His bloodwork came back great! He did have a painful infection in his mouth, so he underwent a dental where several teeth were removed, and he also had a fistula repaired. After getting the care he needed, Joe is now feeling fantastic and ready to start the next chapter of his life. Joe is the definition of a velcro dog — he loves being close to his person and would happily spend his days curled up in a warm lap. He also enjoys sunbathing and relaxing in a cozy spot where he can soak up the warmth. Joe is a gentle, loving little guy who simply wants a quiet home where he can feel safe, loved, and part of the family again. Joe is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, and up to date on preventions. All he needs now is a forever home to call his own.
