About Geronimo
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: 3 Months (as of 2/24/26) Weight: 3.8 lbs (as of 2/24/26) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Geronimo is proof that good things come in small packages! This pint sized sweetie has been in his foster home for a month and has gotten along with the adults, kids, dogs and (dog savvy) cats so far. He is described as a great houseguest. Geronimo enjoys playgroup with other pups and a romp around the yard and then is happy to chill and cuddle up in your lap. He rides well in a car in his crate. Geronimo is still young and is working on his housetraining. He has not tried walking on a leash yet. He is described as intelligent and eager to please his people which may help with that training. His foster family remarked about Geronimo's striking good looks. He is tan with a white chest and he has some adorable little white toes. Did we mention those ears? What a cutie! Gentle Geronimo is healthy now but was treated in February for an umbilical hernia which was repaired when he was neutered. He is not expected to need further treatment. Due to his small size, Geronimo would do best in a home with older children. Geronimo is ready for his family, his next adventure and his forever home. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
