About Joe Bob
Location: Maple Grove, MN Howdy! Name's Joe Bob, and I'm the rootenest tootenest dog there's ever been. I may have some years under my belt, but I'm the goodest ole boy. I'm looking for a family that'll show me the good life for the years I have left! Favorite Hobbies: Naps, eating, naps, slow meandering walks, naps, getting scratches & pets from my humans, naps, counter surfing (that butter dish is just so yummy!), naps, following the scent of my hound nose, and more naps! I have clearly lived in a house before coming into rescue; I transitioned into my foster home pretty easily. But boy was I skinny and HUNGRY! My foster family is feeding me 3 meals a day to help get some meat on my bones. I love to follow my nose around the house, looking for treats to eat. So it's wise to keep people food put away - it's just so irresistible sometimes! Here's a little more about me: - Potty trained - Kennel trained (although I do bark for a few minutes when you first leave me, I just miss my humans!) - Dog friendly (I'm not too interested in playing, but I'm cool with any dog that wants to hang with me.) - Kid friendly (just an easy-going dude) - Likes car rides - Very treat motivated; which makes for easier training. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks! - I love taking slow meandering walks where I can use my excellent snout-skills to smell all the smells. I'm a hound afterall. - #1 request with my future family: A couch to nap on please - I need my beauty sleep! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
