About Marión
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Marión is a gorgeous, 5-year-old red brindle Galgo from Spain who is learning family life for the first time. In just a short month in foster care, he has picked up leash walking, potty training, and adapted to the rhythms of living in a home. He learns quickly and wants nothing more than to be near his people. He is playful and affectionate, with a puppy-like enthusiasm that shines through in everything he does. Marión loves everyone and gets along beautifully with other dogs, especially his medium-sized foster siblings, often following their lead. On walks, he is polite and curious, eager to greet the world and everyone in it, although he is strong and does best with a handler who can keep him close and steady. A food-motivated and fast learner, Marión sits on cue and will even offer extra sits in hopes of a treat. He enjoys toys and needs sturdy ones, as he’s a pro at removing the limbs of stuffed animals! Marión can be left alone for several hours but is a talented counter surfer, so his future family should keep the kitchen cleared of tempting items. Loving, snuggly, adaptable, and eager to please, Marión thrives on daily walks and playtime, with lots of joy and energy to spare. He would fit into many types of homes, especially one that appreciates his energy, curiosity, gentle spirit, and his strong desire to be part of a loving family. His adoption area is within 1 1/2 hours of Kansas City. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
