This boy is one lucky pup! He came to Noah’s Hope after being hit by a car. He went straight to Siouxland animal Hospital. Dr. Samuelson who specializes in broken bones and injuries like this. His dislocated elbow was put back in the socket and casted for a couple weeks, then we held our breath- hoping the joint would be stable when the cast came off. And it was!!!!! Yay!!! Now you can’t even tell he was injured and the road rash is healing nicely. Google thinks he might be a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix and he has a cool, distinctive blue eye. Like most pups his age he is energetic and loves to play, then he chills and just hangs out. He is good with dogs big and small, although he wishes they would play with him more. He has not been tested with cats but he might do fine with a sassy cat since he runs from the bossy resident chihuahua in his foster home. Trubidor (Tru) is about 65 pounds, a year old and has so much potential! He is smart, eager to please and learns quick! It is obvious someone started training this boy because he has good house manners and is potty trained. He has not been in a crate while here, he is just confined to one room while foster mom is away. Tru is neutered and up to date on shots, he is just waiting his turn to find a forever home!
