🐾 Ella — 6‑Year‑Old German Shepherd Looking for a Forever Home Ella is a beautiful, gentle 6‑year‑old German Shepherd whose world changed suddenly when her beloved owner entered hospice care. With only a short window to find her a safe place, we stepped in and promised her owner that Ella would be loved, protected, and given every chance at a happy future. Her owner has since passed away, and we are honoring her memory by helping Ella find the home she deserves. Ella is now in a wonderful foster home, where she is slowly opening up and soaking in every bit of kindness. She enjoys quiet walks, gentle affection, and being close to her person. She’s a sensitive, loyal girl who bonds deeply and thrives with patience and routine. Ella has done beautifully with other animals — she was sweet with Mayte’s little dog Kiwi, respectful and curious during her cat introduction, and even liked the neighbor’s chickens. She has a soft, calm presence and a heart full of love for the right family. This girl has been through a lot, but she is ready for her next chapter. If the perfect home never comes, she will stay with us — but we believe her family is out there. Ella is safe. She is loved. Now she just needs someone to choose her.
