Dewey decimal, wow, there is so much to say. If I only had one word, it would be perfection. I have been Dewey's foster mom after noticing how stressed he was in the kennel. Every day he had been crying, so I brought him home and learned how amazing he was. He wants attention; if you don't give him your attention, he will demand it. Whether you're trying to read, do yoga, or simply trying to go to the bathroom, Dewey will always be right by your side. He could be a trip hazard for some because he rubs against your feet as you walk. Why? He’s not done getting petted apparently you got up too soon. If you're going to your seat, you'd better run fast because he's going to steal it. Why? Because he's going to receive more attention. Then he will flip over show you his belly and chirp at you to pet him Also, you may end up getting petted at 3 AM by Dewey. He likes to make biscuits on your back and then rubs you with his paw. He takes about 45 minutes to 2 hours to lay around or play with a toy. There's an invisible alarm in Dewey's body, and when it's time for pets, the pet meter starts going down. He has to find you to raise the pet meter back up. He wants the side of his mouth scratched and the top of his forehead. If you do not participate in this activity, he will bump his forehead against your hand until you pet him. This behavior is constant because he's a very needy cat. Sometimes when he is really enjoying the scratching and petting he may drool a little from his mouth. I think he’s just enjoying it lol. He has been around other cats and dogs.
