About Skye

Skye is the only female in Bonnie's litter, and she carries that role with quiet authority. Mostly black with delicate white toes and a tuft of white on her chest, she has an adorable look that makes her instantly recognizable. She's observant, steady, and not afraid to remind her brothers who is in charge. If you are interested in Skye who will be ready for adoption around the end of March or so, or one of Bonnie's other puppies, please read below: **** Puppies are a lot of work, and if you are interested in one of these puppies and have children, you should check out GRRAND policies page before you read further... In a nutshell, GRRAND policies stipulate a few important things that may stop you from applying A: GRRAND will NOT place a puppy under the age of 6 months with families with children under 6 yrs old B: Any applicant with children under the age of 16, will require a home with direct access to a securely fenced yard... so this means no apartments or condos Apartments and condos can also be tricky for adult only households, as puppies can be whiny and loud, and may make too much noise for the neighbors as well If you feel you are good to move forward and read more about these little ones... here you go: As with all puppies, these kiddos will need a home where someone is home most of the time as they will need to be fed regularly, and let to go outside consistently and constantly ALL DAY LONG so potty training can be a breeze. They will be looking for homes with fenced in yards and families with LOTS of time and patience to socialize and work with a puppy so they can grow up to be good dogs! Exercise and direction are a must for these little ones as a tired puppy is a good puppy!! They have boundless amounts of playful energy and need a constant outlet for it! They just eat, pee, poop, play and repeat ALL DAY!!! It is a lot of fun, but it is a lot of work, and if you don't have time for all of that, a small puppy may not be for you! Along with that wonderful puppy breath, comes those razor sharp puppy teeth too, so families must understand there needs to be constant supervision as children need to learn to respect an animal and puppies need to learn boundaries. If you would like to meet one of these pups, please fill out an app at GRRAND.org!
