Thank you!** Cuteness loading! Meet Crush Heart, an 8-week-old Hound / Australian Shepherd mix, weighing 8.9 pounds (as of 3/6/26). This boy and his siblings, also known as the HEART litter, are Double Merle which means they have two copies of the merle gene. They came from a property in Alabama where there were 5 pregnant females all from the same male. Mom (pictured) is a merle colored Catahoula looking mix and we were told Dad was an Aussie, so we presume that dad must have been a merle Aussie resulting in a double merle breeding. Because of this, the Heart litter has hearing or visual impairments, but they've been able to adjust so quickly, their fosters didn't even realize they had for a long time! These pups can't wait to find a fur-ever home that will give them much needed TLC (tender, love and care). Crush is a sweet boy who's bound to be your biggest crush! When he's not playing with his toys or making you smile with his puppy energy, you can find him making spaghetti in the kitchen in an attempt to recreate the spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp. Because of his genes, Crush is deaf and will need some patience from his family as he adjusts to your home, but he's a smart boy who'll soon have you wondering if he didn't hear you or if he's just ignoring you for fun.
