Millie is a ~2 yo Bassett hound who was rescued from the south. She is a very happy, exuberant girl who loves all people and other dogs. She tries to play with everyone she meets. She is surprisingly agile for a "low-rider" and likes to counter surf...she can be a little troubly. She is in a foster home who was hoping to adopt her, but she is too exuberant for the elderly cat. She is not aggressive; she wants to play. She would do best in a home either without cats or with a cat who likes to play with dogs. She is spayed and vaccinated. She is undergoing treatment for heartworm and needs to stay locally (Northern Vermont) through early April to complete her treatment. She has been struggling with house-training in the cold weather.
