About Lila

Lila is a big-hearted Mastiff mix, affectionately known as the gentle giant of her foster home. She splits her time between sprawling across the couch and enjoying breezy car rides, which easily rank as her favorite pastimes. If you’ve got a soft spot for affectionate dogs and love lazy afternoons, she’s already halfway to your heart. Though she carries herself like a reserved introvert at first, Lila warms up with some patience—a quick sniff of your hand and she’s soon ready for pets. She’s still figuring out her place in the world, blending classic puppy antics with bursts of dramatic flair. Crate training and impulse control are ongoing projects for her, but every day she grows more comfortable under the guidance of a confident, structured human. Due to her size, energetic spirit, and natural chase instincts, Lila is not suited for homes with small children or small animals. She does, however, get along well with other dogs and loves to bond with her people. Lila is currently fostered in Turlock, CA, and ready to find her perfect match.
