Buddy Edward
AvailableBuddy Edward is a small adult Shih Tzu with curly apricot, beige, and white medium-length fur who currently lives in Pearland, TX. While he's still working on housetraining, he's already neutered and has up-to-date vaccinations. Grooming needs are significant due to his coat. He gets along well with cats, dogs, and children.
About Buddy Edward
Buddy Edward is the embodiment of a well-loved middle-aged Shih Tzuβwith a round belly and a shameless fondness for treats. Underneath his comical 'beer gut', he's overflowing with charm. Since coming into rescue, he's lost some weight, but he's a work in progress. His health otherwise checks out, but his new family will need to help keep him on track with his diet. Buddy sports curly white and tan fur, with some former bald spots from past skin issues that are now filling in well. True to his breed, Buddy needs regular professional grooming, so factor that into your routine. He gets along with everyone: cats, small dogs, and big dogs. From car rides to curling up on a lap, he's happy wherever the people are. Buddy is leash trained and making gains with housetraining, already ahead of his canine foster siblings. He originally landed with the rescue due to tough circumstances for his previous family but has adjusted remarkably well. He is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and ready for a home that will keep him healthy and loved. This Shih Tzu's ideal adopter will stay committed to his weight loss journey and regular grooming. Buddy Edward is fostered in Pearland, TX, but can be transported to several regions.
