With his charming, good looks and friendly nature, Sammy is sure to steal your heart. Sammy may have had a rocky start on the island but that hasn't dimmed his spirit or his love for people. Sammy has been working hard in foster care, learning basic commands and socializing with other dogs. He is a quick learner and always up for a game or a new adventure. This 34-pound bundle of fun would do best in a home with a friendly dog and with someone that will take him on walks/hikes since he loves exercise. He is great with people and would do best in a home with older kids (15+) who can respect his space. Sammy is crate-trained, leash and harness trained, and housebroken, making him the perfect companion.
