Some Boys....just need more toys! And seriously. How can you resist that smile! Meet Willy. He is a 2-year-old, 72lb, muscular, athletic, fun loving Pittie/Hound mix. Willy is a new arrival at Suncoast Animal League, and he comes to us via Pennsylvania to Fort Myers to a high-kill shelter to a rescue group to a vet's office and finally ending up at Suncoast Animal League. His unsteady past has left him a little immature and confused but with a lot of help from our dedicated dog care volunteers we are seeing a real improvement. He is still big and strong but his walking habits have greatly become more enjoyable for everyone. He also had his first event outing last weekend and was a big hit. He still is a bull in a China shop at times, but he gets better every day. He is potty trained, does well in his cage and require a 6ft fully fenced in yard. Kids 10 yrs+. We are working on his very excitable meet and greet style when it comes to other dogs, but when it comes to people.... he loves us all. And for anyone interested in Willy here's a reminder.
