Meet Nova, the beautiful 6 year old female German Shepherd seeking her forever home. This 50 pound pup is toy obsessed and full of love! Nova here is extremely loving and does well with everyone she meets, furry and 2-legged. Although friendly, she is very independent and doesn't always seek out affection (especially if her favorite toy is nearby). Nova loves toys and is a fetch champion. Watch this pooch go and she'd run after a toy all day if she could! During playtime, Nova is very well-mannered and drops the toy in front of you so you can throw the toy for her. Because of how active this canine is, she would thrive best in a home with a fenced in yard and with a family who has the ability to play fetch with her throughout the day. Despite her age, Nova knows how to go go go that's for certain! Medically, Nova has some missing fur that needs some tending to with weekly medicated baths. We're hopeful her fur will fully grow back; however, we cannot guarantee that it will. Other than that, she's one healthy, sweet, energetic, and smart pup ready to find her humans! In terms of potty training, Nova is a good girl and tries to hold it until she goes outside. Nova will be available for adoption during our Open Adoption Hours, Friday through Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
