Say hello to Daisy. This lovely cat embodies the incredible transformations made possible at Haven, all thanks to our devoted volunteers. When she first arrived, you might have found her hiding under the couch, nervous and hissing as she navigated her new world in fear. With gentle encouragement, unhurried hands, and a lot of patience, our team helped Daisy emerge from her shell. Each kind gesture—from slow blinks to toy play—slowly built her trust until she began to come out of hiding. Now, when you walk into the room, she greets you with enthusiastic head-butting and leg rubs. Hissing has transformed into joyful purring. Daisy is affectionate, playful, and has a knack for reminding you if treat time is overlooked. Ideally, she needs a home that will continue to nurture her blossoming confidence. She does well with other cats, but she’s not suited for homes with children.
